So let's start with Lola's going to promote on her for her services, which they're amazing and you're really, truly are missing out from not signing up to her great gifts and talents she has.
[00:00:54] Speaker B: Well, thank you.
I've been teaching Amaral tarot. He's gotten some tarot readings from me. He's gotten energy healings from me. He has also gotten spirit guide drawings from me. He even has a tattoo on his body of a light language glyph that I drew on one of his spirit guide drawings. So you're a little biased, but I appreciate that.
[00:01:18] Speaker A: But I'm truthful too.
[00:01:20] Speaker B: I.
Okay, this is directly to the Woowooville listeners.
I found out I had to get a new computer and it had to be a certain amount of power for us to continue to bring you the podcast. And when I did, I cried because I broke my oath to myself.
But you guys are worth it. It's a sacrifice I'm doing because I want to continue the podcast. And even refurbished, the cost of the computer was a lot higher than I expected.
So I'm asking people, if you feel the call, to please book a service with me.
I've got tarot readings available half hour.
I've got hour. You can ask as many questions as you want in an hour, all for 25% off to you, the Woowooville listeners, so that I can continue to bring this podcast to you and sleep at night because I just bought a computer that I need to pay off.
So if you go to my website, www.lolasinger.com, you'll see a page with a list of my services and what I do, you can book right online.

So if you like the podcast, please support me so that Amaral and I can continue to support you at a spiritual and hopefully slightly humorous and self effacing. We learned a lot on the spiritual journey manner.
[00:03:11] Speaker A: Yes. And also we want to do a shout out to our sponsor, Mystical Wares, located in Mount Vernon, the store that is. So if you're near the area Skagit in from Washington state, you can definitely visit them in person. But also they have a great online page that you can shop from as.
[00:03:35] Speaker B: Well, which is ww mysticalwears.com Very simple, very easy.
Definitely read the air. They have frequently asked questions about Shungite. Shungite helps with EMF waves. All kind of nastiness that we can't see and it's like a miracle stone. So I would definitely read the frequently asked questions about Shungite and maybe look at their Shungite products too, because they're great.
[00:04:05] Speaker A: Exactly.
Okay, in today's episode, we'll be talking about spirit animals and animal medicines that they offer to us.
[00:04:17] Speaker B: Yes. And you know, it's funny because when you're reading the descript, you know the description. We talk to you each week about our experiences.
This particular week, we had a lot of experiences with animals, Amaral and I, and we thought, well, they tie in to the spiritual path. So well, it was just like, wow, another animal, another animal, another animal. And I'm kind of guessing if we're experiencing that, the people in the audience are too.
Maybe you're noticing more spirit animals than you have in the past.
So let's dive in and talk about them.
[00:04:53] Speaker A: So another thing too, that I just want to add to as a thing is animals.
When we don't, when we are still not awakened, when we still haven't really started working on ourselves, our light isn't the brightest it can be.
And so that really intimidates animals. So when we are actually shining our true authentic light that actually welcomes them. So. So as we're all evolving, as the energies are rising, we're finding that we're able to connect with them more and they're not so fearful of us. So I find it to be such a great thing. But. And I love animals, of course, I have my own pets too, so.
[00:05:36] Speaker B: Yes, but this was predicated on you actually visiting a zoo.
[00:05:40] Speaker A: Yes.
So I had my thoughts behind going there because, you know, like, we all hear and obviously about wild animals being locked up, which is not fair to them. But then I started thinking about this concept right and that concept which I talked to Lola about was the fact that no matter how much we kind of complain, they're already there. But why don't those animals deserve to have loving energy be given to them? Meaning, like those of us, like, I'm a Reiki master as well as Lola, to give them Reiki mask, Reiki and sent Reiki loving energy to them.
And they respond so well. And not only that, but they also give us our animal medicine in return.
So on top of going over what the animal medicine is and describing it, we're going to mention a few animals and what they provide for us, which is just great. It's the reason why we have this podcast is to educate people, especially those of you that may already know about animal medicine or spirit animals.
But it's great to just kind of go through, catch on, and even share some of our experiences with you guys.
[00:06:55] Speaker B: Yes. So because this podcast, our hearts, the reason we started it was to help the people new to the spiritual path.
So we're going to talk about it in pretty basic terms. Yeah, but that is something I think most people are interested when they go on the spiritual journey, when they start finding out about, ooh, totem animals, what are those?
Or I keep seeing this type of animal over and over again and it's like, why?
So there's a lot of questions about it.
And you know, I'm like, like, I'm sure some. Everyone out there, all of a sudden you have this connection to a certain kind of animal. Either you're seeing it over and over again and it doesn't even have to be in physical environment.
It could be a. All of a sudden you're consciously aware of, like, look like we're in the Northwest, right? Maybe dolphins. Yeah, we're not going to run into a dolphin up here. No, but maybe all of a sudden you're scrolling and you see people with. Showing their dolphin art on social media, or somebody's been on a trip to Florida and they're with the dolphins and all of a sudden, you know, you're, you're. There's a TV show that shows up.
[00:08:02] Speaker A: With dolphins and you start meditating and dolphins appear in it or on your dreams.
[00:08:08] Speaker B: Yes.
So that's one of the ways that they connect with you. All of a sudden you're going, whoa. How come I'm so consciously aware of dolphins all of a sudden?
So do you think it was trying to tell you something? It probably is the dolphins trying to speak to you. The dolphins have certain energies that you can benefit from. And like you kind of talked about, the energetics would be a two way street, kind of like a figure eight or an infinity sign.
[00:08:35] Speaker A: So let's break it down with spirit animals and animal medicines refers to symbolic animals that offer guidance, strength and wisdom as spiritual messengers or helpers. These concepts are rooted in indigenous cultures particularly really it's all around the world where each animal embodies certain traits and a unique medicine. It's inherited energy and assistance to the world.
Connecting with a spirit animal involves recognizing repeated, unusual appearances of certain animals or receiving messages and dreams. And it's seen as a way to foster self awareness, healing and spiritual growth.
[00:09:19] Speaker B: Yeah. And you know, let's just be honest about being newbies on the spiritual journey, because I was at one point I did not know what people were talking about when they'd say animal medicine.
I would hear that term thrown around. It's like, what, what kind of medicine? What is it? Okay, I'm just telling you because I didn't know. Maybe you guys do.
The medicine is more about the life lessons that the animals can offer you and the strengths that the animals represent that we can embody.
So it isn't really a physical medicine or even kind of like an ethereal medicine that's going to cure you of something physical. It's actually the, the energetic match to you and how like, like certain animals are courageous, certain are gentle, you know, whatever seems to be a good fit to help you on your journey, that's the medicine. So maybe, maybe I was really, I was, I was really naive. I was like, what medicine? What does that mean? So did you feel that way or did you understand that term right off the bat?
[00:10:24] Speaker A: I didn't understand the term right off the bat until how I learned about it is I attended this class and they had books on, they said on animal medicine. And I was like puzzled, like what do you mean with animal medicine? And it was literally like it had different animals and the type of, with bringing in that energy that provides certain helpful traits to you.
So yes, I was very puzzled at first as well as you are.
[00:10:54] Speaker B: Okay. I think that it's legitimus for us to talk about that. So don't be embarrassed because we both didn't know either.
[00:11:01] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:11:02] Speaker B: Yeah.
And then the whole idea is that when you're changing, you know, you shift on the spiritual journey. You shed old parts of yourself, you step into new, you face new challenges, then these animals start to appear when you need their, their guidance and a way to reflect on yourself.
[00:11:23] Speaker A: Yep.
So what are spiritual spirit animals?
Messengers and guides. Spirit animals, also known as animal guides, power animals or totem animals, are teachers and messengers from the spirit world.
Personal connection. They offer a person, a. A person peace, guidance and strength to help them navigate life.
Cultural significance. The concept is significant. Significant in many indigenous cultures where animals are views as sacred and possess spiritual qualities, according to psychology today.
[00:12:04] Speaker B: So even the mainstream knows about them.
[00:12:06] Speaker A: Yes.
And what's really interesting is I think. Think that there's so much knowledge that's just coming on that is just so great because back in the day it was almost like there's never a way necessarily to be like, oh, this is how you're supposed to start. So sometimes some of us, like, don't even hear about certain things until way later on in life, about certain things that just needed to be explained differently or in order for us to understand, I guess.
[00:12:34] Speaker B: Well, and a lot of this goes back to, you know, ancient knowledge. And we're. I certainly wasn't raised on ancient knowledge growing up.
[00:12:43] Speaker A: No, I definitely was.
[00:12:44] Speaker B: You know, unfortunately, I think that the generations now are a little more familiar with it because we're. We're kind of.
Kind of going back to it.
[00:12:53] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:12:55] Speaker B: So I think the idea was if you wanted to bring in strength, you know, you would dress like the bear. You know, if you had a bare skin and with a bare head on the top of your head, you know, that would be.
And then you walk like the animal, dance like the animal, really embody that animal. So I think that was the original medicine diet. I'm going to bring in the. It's like I'm invoking the energy of that animal because, like, if they're going on a hunt, you know, I want to have, you know, the strength and stealth of the lioness. You know, I want to have the quiet, virtually soundless aspects of the owl or something like that, you know.
So I think the ancients were invoking it, but on the spiritual path, like we talked about earlier, there's these synchronicities too, where all of a sudden they seem to appear when you need that kind of guidance.
So that would be, like we talked about earlier, that, you know, repeated sightings of certain animals, but also fascination. Like sometimes, you know, there's an animal you were never interested in before, and all of a sudden you're just finding it like, well, isn't that just like the most intriguing animal? Like, what's your one from South America that you like so much?
[00:14:13] Speaker A: Jaguars?
[00:14:14] Speaker B: No, the one that starts with C.
With C.
The little rodenty.
[00:14:22] Speaker A: Oh, the capybaras.
[00:14:23] Speaker B: Yes.
[00:14:24] Speaker A: They're so great.
I can't even believe. I totally just spaced off about them. The Capybars are just some of the gentle. They're so gentle creatures. They get along with everyone.
They're like around crocodiles and the crocodiles don't even attack them. They're just so. I mean, they are hunted by some. They still have like, predators that go after them, but they're just such loving, peaceful souls.
[00:14:50] Speaker B: But you can hear how fascinated you are about it. Your voice just lit up. But that wasn't something you had lifelong. All of a sudden you got this fascination with that and whatever medicine that they are representing.
[00:15:03] Speaker A: Well, and what's really interesting, out of all places, and this is where synchronicities are so interesting. So there's a family petting zoo in Tacoma. We live in Mount Vernon. So we're like probably like about an hour and a half minutes away, two hours.
And they have a capybara where you can actually spend time with the animal, which I'm still to do that. And I'm excited.
[00:15:31] Speaker B: I'm sure you will.
[00:15:32] Speaker A: Because I. I just need to get it out of my system. But they're so friendly that, like, you can feed them, obviously, like, you can pet them, but that's like, you don't. You never want to cause stress on an animal. So you, like. It's always good to just to read the signs of how they behave and everything. But these are such peaceful, loving animals. So.
[00:15:54] Speaker B: Yes. So if like Amaral, all of a sudden you've got this twinge and go, I really like this animal. All of a sudden, I would. I would look up.
You can go online. There's a lot, a lot of websites where you can just punch in, you know, like, let's say it was, oh, let's just say mouse, you know, mouse totem, animal traits or medicine. And it'll come up and you can look at it if you get, you know, fascinated all of a sudden with something from another culture. Like, all of a sudden, you know, it's like duck Bill platypus. I never thought about those before. They're fascinating. You can look up the duck Bill platypus.
So then think about, you know, what they represent and like, oh, this must be what I'm attracted to, what I'm trying to draw in for myself. And I'm bringing up this example for a reason. Because as spirit animal is not always the most expected ones.
[00:16:49] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:16:50] Speaker B: So your spirit animal that could be helping you. And I actually, in reading sometimes I See, people, spirit animals. I'll say, oh, this one's helping you now. But it could be a temporary animal, and sometimes it could be a little. It could be an insect.
I don't think people realize that, you know, it could be an insect, it could be a bird. You know, I think we tend to think of the big, strong mammals a lot.
But be open to anyone and anything, because when you start reading about these animals, they all have something energetically to share, which is just fascinating in and of itself.
[00:17:24] Speaker A: Yep.
[00:17:25] Speaker B: So Amaral went to the zoo recently, and there were certain animals that did some amazing things that stood out for him.
And I had a few encounters with animals this week, too. So let's start with yours. And, oh, before we do, let me just talk about the most common ones that people talk about, which would be things like the bear.
You know, bears, a common totem, animals. So that's going to be about strength, grounding, courage, hibernation. So they know when to look inward, you know, so they. A very, very cleansing kind of energy.
You know, a lot of people like wolves, so that's leadership, community, intuition.
I know someone who loves hummingbirds. Joy, lightness, you know, really taking a bite out of life so you can look these things up. You know, owls, wisdom. Everybody knows that. Right. Discernment, seeing the unseen, A dear, gentle patient.
So there's a lot that you can find out by, you know, but then go beyond. That's why I'm saying it's any animal. But those are some of the pretty common ones, just for people who are new in the audience to kind of get an idea of what we're talking about with medicine. So let's talk about Ameril's personal experience.
[00:18:43] Speaker A: So yesterday I went to the zoo, and I was.
I was guided there. It was such a. Such an interesting story, and I'm just gonna keep it super short. So last time I was at the zoo, I was there with my mother, my nephew that at that time he was 5, and my dad, that was still alive because my dad passed in a work accident. So we went there, and funny enough, it was during August, believe it or not, and my dad passed in September, so it was only a month apart.
[00:19:17] Speaker B: I didn't know that.
[00:19:18] Speaker A: And so there was that little story.
In somehow, some way, it ended up going to the zoo. And it was my mother again, my nephew, which is now 14.
And then they. He brought his little brother, which is three, and a friend of my mom's that was visiting.
So during the experience, there was a lot of Recapturing of the moments that we spend with that. But I think it felt good. It wasn't sad at all. It was more about really honoring those memories, which was great. And so little did I know that that was going to be playing out too. But the part that was really playing out is the animals themselves. And me really thinking, instead of setting, like, being there and being so sad for the animals, I was thinking, they're already there, so I want to make them feel love and that they're supported.
So sending energy to them. And this is like, obviously thinking about the animal, opening up our heart space, connecting with the energy and being able to send to them.
And they would react so good to it, and I would feel that energy back. So a few animals that I connected with, and their meaning is like, first it was a giraffe. And funny enough, the day before I cut Lola's hair and she was telling me how she was really fascinated. She loved giraffes. She's like, say hi to the giraffe for me.
[00:20:50] Speaker B: I did. That was like the last thing I said when I left you, wasn't it?
[00:20:54] Speaker A: That is what you said. And then I recorded. Recorded the giraffe. And the giraffe just kept looking straight into the camera. And I was like, our friend said hi. And it was just almost like. Like this.
Literally, we can communicate with animals by telepathy. And so it was like the animal was literally just like, saying hi back.
And so I even tagged her on a post that I did saying, hey, look who wanted to say hi back to you.
[00:21:18] Speaker B: Yeah, he sent that to me. And it made sense to me because, you know, I. I think that love that I was passing to the giraffes did come through you.
[00:21:27] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:21:28] Speaker B: Because when I was a child, I. That I loved Woodland Park Zoo, and I had a special route I always took, and it always ended with the giraffes because they were my favorites.
[00:21:37] Speaker A: Oh, that's awesome.
[00:21:38] Speaker B: And they were close to the parking lot, too, but they were my favorites. So getting back to the car, I would run to them.
So, yeah, so I guess, you know, that attraction that they can still sense it.
[00:21:51] Speaker A: Exactly. And so the giraffe animal medicine is vision, balance, grace, patience, individuality, and adaptability.
[00:22:02] Speaker B: And I always think of it too. Also very gentle, yet absolutely very motherly. But also it's like the eagle seeing things from a higher perspective, which is one of my favorite parts of giraffe medicine.
[00:22:13] Speaker A: And see, here's the other thing, too, that we were talking about. It's also about Using your discernment when you're reading off because it could have like a description of so many different things, but it's also 10 tuning in into what really applies to you, what feels like it's the actual medicine that it's sending to you, what it's really supporting you at that time. And why is it coming up front for you?
[00:22:39] Speaker B: Yeah, because for the new people, when you do go online, you might find like you go to one website says something slightly different about the animal than the other one. So that's what he means by discernment. And, and you're right, you know, it's how it's feeling for you at that particular juncture.
[00:22:57] Speaker A: And so then the one that I was super excited to see at the zoo because I just found out they had that animal because they didn't have it last time when I was there. And it's my, one of my main totem animals, which is a jaguar.
So then I already knew the jaguars, how they function, meaning they're not really daytime animals. They don't like to be really around, be seen all the time.
But I just kept sending energy to it, opening up my heart space. And I said, hey, if you really want to come out, like it's totally your choice, I'm still gonna send you love regardless, but I would love to see you. I found out that they have male there and he was hitting pretty well like all the way in the back. But there was no way, no one can see it. As soon as I started tapping, as soon as I started just really focusing on sending that energy, it just came out of nowhere.
And I got footage of it like literally walking all the way from the back, crossing a bridge, coming around all the way till like there was only a glass separating between me and the jaguar inches away. Yes. And it felt so great. It just felt it really connected with me because they're such strong, powerful animals, but yet they have this presence and this loving presence and loving energy that they can send back to us. So I definitely felt it was a two way street where I felt like I was sending the energy and I was receiving that energy.
So what the jaguar and animal medicine is about is power, integrity, courage, ability to navigate the subconscious.
[00:24:45] Speaker B: Oh yes.
[00:24:47] Speaker A: So anything hidden, it's being brought to the light. And that's like really resonates with me because I'm going through a whole like death rebirth cycle. And so it's just, it's.
[00:24:59] Speaker B: That's the perfect animal for a scorpio.
[00:25:02] Speaker A: And I just, I. It just felt Amazing. I literally got out of that zoo feeling so loved, because again, as we send love, we receive love, and it's really what we're sending out there. And just. I mean, there's no way I'm gonna list all the animals, but the animals that really came to me, like, meaning I felt really connected. Those are the ones that I kind of wrote so that I could talk a little bit about.
[00:25:23] Speaker B: Yeah. So before you go to the next one, I think you said something that some people who are new to the spiritual journey might not realize, because you don't have to be Reiki trained.
[00:25:32] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:25:33] Speaker B: To send the energy and love to those animals and to kind of feel like you're getting it back.
But I do know some people who are Reiki trained who like to go to the ocean and just stand at the ocean and send Reiki to the seals or the sea lions, and they come closer and closer to the land. You can actually see them do that. Yeah, horses are very receptive to it.
[00:25:57] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:25:59] Speaker B: You guys just send that love out, and you might get some love back in return. Just like he did with the jaguar, who regally decided, I will deign to come over to that one.
[00:26:09] Speaker A: And, I mean, Lola saw the footage. It was just so beautiful. It's just so. Just majestic. That's all I can even think of when I think of jaguars. It's just so majestic and just how they carry themselves.
We already talk about the bear, but one of the things I was telling Lola about the bear is like, the.
[00:26:29] Speaker B: Bear at the zoo that he saw.
[00:26:30] Speaker A: The bear at the zoo that I saw, it was a brown bear, and it was ginormous.
So big. And I think that maybe because I haven't seen enough bears in my life, apparently.
So it was just so massive, and I'm just like, whoa, that's a huge bear. Right when we were.
[00:26:51] Speaker B: But that's why they're associated with cats. Power and courage and. Yeah. I mean, that bear mad. But think about it.
That's one thing that my Eli, my teacher, told me, because he remembers past life as Native American.
He goes, the bear is the ultimate predator of North America.
[00:27:12] Speaker A: Oh, yeah.
[00:27:12] Speaker B: It's like. It's like the lion in Africa.
So now you know why. Because you've seen a bear up close. Yep. And that's even one of the gentle kind of bears. Yeah.
[00:27:25] Speaker A: So that was really cool. And then it was resting, and then I was so focused on the resting one, and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, this other one comes out, and it's just like, Standing and that one's moving and walking. And I'm just like, just fascinated. I'm just like allowing like the experience, the animal sending the love energy, receiving the love energy and just being present.
I think that, I mean, in general, in our lives, like, we get. We get to really be present in our lives. And I think that that's the part that's missing. We get so overwhelmed by so many things outside of us that like our stress, they take, they add to us, but they don't give back to us. But when we find things, such as animals that are willing to, when we give them love, when we think about them, give that love back. If really, like, for example, think of your pets. Who doesn't come home and then feels their pets feel the loves for their pet. That's also animal medicine too.
[00:28:28] Speaker B: Very much so.
[00:28:29] Speaker A: And not only that, but it's like really powerful animal medicine because they're the ones that are taking care of you. Like, they're literally the whole your familiars, which is a term used for those.
Our pets that come to us and really want to be around us, to help us.
They really take care of us in so such a powerful way. And they have unconditional love for us and they accept us exactly for who we are. And I think off of that love for me, for example, when I meditate in the morning when my pets are around, I just give them a hug and I just think of gratitude and I think of love in my heart, space automatically starts opening up.
So I get that connection. They actually help me with me connecting to feeling more gratitude and to feeling connected to love.
[00:29:16] Speaker B: If we think of these animals as mirrors.
[00:29:19] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:29:19] Speaker B: I mean, the dog is teaching you loyalty, joy, living in the moment.
And then the cats are great because they're, you know, at night they're guarding us.
[00:29:30] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:29:32] Speaker B: They see realms that we don't see with the human eye. And they're taking care of us the whole time.
[00:29:36] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:29:38] Speaker B: So it's a win. Win.
[00:29:40] Speaker A: And then I saw zebras. Which zebras? Animal medicine is balance, duality and harmony.
And it makes so sense so much because of the black and white. But they were very interesting. It was one zebra, and then the other one comes along and sits right next to the other zebra. And just looking straight up, it was amazing.
The one thing that really shocked me that I was telling Lola is how I saw a tiger.
And you know, when you think of tigers, you think of these, like, powerful predators, which they are, but the behavior it was doing was giving itself a bath and all I could think of was my own cat at home.
But it's so, so funny that this, like giants become so gentle when they're at ease, when they're at their element.
[00:30:28] Speaker B: Like, don't you love when people post like the. On the memes of tigers in boxes? You know? You know, they put a box out in the wild.
[00:30:35] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:30:35] Speaker B: And then they just lay cats go into them.
[00:30:38] Speaker A: Yep.
Because, I mean, they might be wild cats, but they're still cats. They still have cat behaviors, even the big ones.
[00:30:47] Speaker B: Like the boxes.
[00:30:48] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:30:48] Speaker B: But look at how much joy that brought you.
[00:30:50] Speaker A: And it did. It really connected me back to my inner child.
And again, as I said, it really connected me with good memories because when we were there, my dad was enjoying the. And that's.
I think that the best thing we can do for loved ones that are no longer with us is to remember them with that light of the great memories. It doesn't have to be all sad.
[00:31:12] Speaker B: Well, isn't that why currently a lot of grandparents try, try to gift things that can create memories, experiences rather than things?
Because I would agree with that. Like, one of my greatest memories is when grandma used to let us pull the string on the bus to stop the bus.
We thought we were so powerful when we did that.
[00:31:32] Speaker A: But that's a great way to teach you guys. That's awesome that your grandma did that. So before I forget, the animal medicine for tiger is courage, power, inner strength and self confidence.
That's like a powerful.
[00:31:49] Speaker B: Let's bring. Hey, we all need more tiger medicine.
[00:31:52] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:31:53] Speaker B: Let's tune into the tiger.
[00:31:55] Speaker A: Yeah.
And then it's like my hubby's totem animal was there and it's a gazelle and it's so beautiful. They are beautiful and so graceful. Just how they pose, how they walk and everything. And I'm like, oh, man. And it's hilarious when to think that my hubby's totem animals a gazelle and my totem animals a jaguar.
[00:32:17] Speaker B: And I said, when the scorpio wants to confront him, the gazelle runs away.
[00:32:21] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:32:24] Speaker B: Smart gazelle.
[00:32:27] Speaker A: So a gazelle's animal medicine is grace, optimism, vigilance, and swiftness.
And it kind of like, yeah, they're just such graceful animals. Just. It's almost like they're always just perfect. Like they're just ready for elegant. Exactly.
[00:32:46] Speaker B: Elegant.
[00:32:48] Speaker A: And even when they walk together is almost like a march. Like there was two of them and they walked and it's. Before you know it, they like their steps almost match in a graceful pattern. It was so strange But I also sometimes think maybe it's because we become more observing and we're familiar with the energy that we realize how much more graceful animals really are that we didn't see before. Because we're just like, usually we're just so blocked in, like, oh, there's that animal and that's it. But when we actually go in into sending loving energy to them, when we're receiving their energy, it's like something changes and it becomes way deeper than it actually is.
[00:33:32] Speaker B: Well, it's a form of communication, isn't it? It is heart to heart communication. So is that, is that everybody you saw at the zoo?
[00:33:41] Speaker A: No.
[00:33:41] Speaker B: Okay.
[00:33:42] Speaker A: There's only three more. So four more technically.
[00:33:44] Speaker B: Oh, no, you saw a lot at the zoo, but these are the ones that stood out.
[00:33:46] Speaker A: Yeah. The other one, which I had a really good story is I saw tarantula and I saw spiders. And I have such a good story in spiders.
[00:33:57] Speaker B: I love tarantulas.
[00:33:58] Speaker A: I had a pet tarantula when I was younger, but I was in the process of doing so many things and I couldn't take care of it and I actually did the right thing and I, I gave it away to someone that had the time that could dedicate. And what's funny is to run into years later and they still had that tarantula.
[00:34:19] Speaker B: Nice.
[00:34:19] Speaker A: And her name was Tara. I know how I'm not a unique, probably fret tarantula, but it was just so great that she was just taking care of and stuff and I just was so happy.
So my spider story is I got up one day and there was all.
[00:34:37] Speaker B: Of these things happened this week, you guys.
[00:34:39] Speaker A: Yes.
[00:34:39] Speaker B: We're going to talk about so crazy.
[00:34:41] Speaker A: So I got up one day out of my place that I live and we have a big backyard and I saw this spider with this beautiful just web. It's just such a beautiful design.
And I remember saying to it, on top of just sending the energy to it, how beautiful it was and how much of a. Like just an art piece. Literally it's like an artist.
So the next day wake up and there's spider webs everywhere. Like literally all like everywhere where you would go through to get out of like the door to get.
[00:35:17] Speaker B: You didn't. You missed part of the story you told me.
Because he got the impression because remember he was talking about kind of a telepathic connection to the spider and, and he felt like she was saying, oh my gosh, you noticed me and you didn't try to squish.
[00:35:30] Speaker A: Oh, but that was a Few days later. That's why I hadn't touched that yet. No, you're totally good story mixed. No, no, no, it's fine. So because we had to, I'm like, this isn't personal, but I have to tear to through your spider webs because we're living like we. I understand the outside is your home, but I have to get out and I have to be able to walk and so does my husband. So can we just like have the spider webs be more in a space where they're not blocking pathways?
So I kid you guys not, they all switch it to corners.
And now when I exit, I was so shocked that all of them have put their webs in corners. They literally had corners. So as I was exiting from this gate, I saw this spider in because it was a bigger spider and on her legs she had little rings of like dark color.
And I remember thinking like, wow, you're so beautiful.
But right as I was thinking that the spider was trying to get away because it probably got so used to being like chased or just messed with by humans. And I swore I like heard in my head, are you referring to me? And I was like, yes, of course I'm referring to you.
So now that spider is so calm, is so like just she's doing her thing and she feels the beauty that she possesses because she just has a spider right next to the door and it's on the corner, it's not blocking and. And she's just doing her thing and she's beautiful.
And when I went through the zoo, they had a bug part, like where like there's different bugs in that same kind of spider was there. It was the very first one when I went into the. Right. The odds of that.
So spider animal medicine is creativity, patience, interconnectness of life.
[00:37:27] Speaker B: And I love that very feminine creator type energy.
[00:37:32] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:37:33] Speaker B: Yeah. Like weaving. Weaving the new weaving your destiny.
[00:37:36] Speaker A: Exactly. And that's the spider. The spider web. That's what it represents. It represents the weaving of what you're creating in life, what you're bringing forth into your life. So I love that animal medicine.
[00:37:48] Speaker B: Yeah. But I love your story because it was like the spider sensed your. Your admiration and then they all cooperated with you. And so new people who knew that could happen.
[00:37:59] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:38:00] Speaker B: But also one thing similar to me happened here at the cabin where I saw a carpenter ant in Inside the Cabin. And I telepathically told the queen, I have those little sonar things.
I've never taken them out of the package. But if I See more carpenter ants. I'm going to use that.
Have I seen another carpenter, Anthony? No. Have I taken it out of the package? No.
[00:38:27] Speaker A: Awesome.
[00:38:29] Speaker B: You can kind of negotiate. It's like, I just want, you know, I want you guys to survive in your own environment, but if I see one more carpenter ant, I will pull that out of the package.
So. But it was in a respectful way, kind of like you with the spider.
[00:38:43] Speaker A: And see, that's.
[00:38:44] Speaker B: Welcome to the world of Woo woo.
[00:38:45] Speaker A: I know that is the world.
But here's another thing that I want you guys to get. Like the. The main thing, the message that I really want to just share across is once we. You realize deep in your soul that you. We are all made out of energy and we're all part of oneness. And every creature is made out of that energy. And you're respectful towards that creature, that creature will also answer back and understand where you're coming from and do things that are, like, amazing and incredible.
I literally at my jaw dropped the next day when all these spiders completely resemble themselves and we're in the corners, literally. And they've been in the corners ever since.
I'm just like.
I don't even know what to say. Sometimes my jaw just drops because I just, like, that's the only thing I can do and function.
The only other thing that I wanted to share that's really important for me is birds.
[00:39:46] Speaker B: Oh, my gosh. Amaral and the birds.
I have been a witness to this.
It's not just once, twice. It's many times. I can't even imagine what it's like when you're by yourself in that car.
[00:39:58] Speaker A: Yeah, it gets really crazy. But we're talking about, like, it's all kinds of birds, but it's specifically big birds. I had. Okay, it's fine. Like, it's totally normal. There's so many eagles in the Northwest. Like, that's obviously because it was so funny because one of my friends kept saying, like, well, I don't even see why you feel like you're so connected. There's eagles everywhere. I said, yes, there is completely. Eagles everywhere. There's hawks everywhere. There's owls everywhere. But here's the thing where it happens. When I'm driving, they come down and will fly in front of my windshield, literally inches within inches of the windshield.
[00:40:36] Speaker B: Several times. Not just once.
[00:40:39] Speaker A: Or they'll land is I'm like, just walking. They'll just land right close to my side.
They'll make perfect circles. They do so many things.
[00:40:50] Speaker B: I know. And then the Owls who should be.
[00:40:52] Speaker A: Sleeping in the daytime, but spotted that white beautiful owl with spots in it.
So I am just very grateful. I think, like I always read into their medicine in. In fact, the eagle medicine is freedom, courage, spiritual connection and clear vision and seeing things from a higher perspective.
In hawk medicine is clear vision, focus, intuition and elevate perspective along many other things.
[00:41:27] Speaker B: Probably, yes. So now that you know what some of the medicines are for some of the wonderful animals that Amaral experience this week, what do you do with that? Well, you could say I do want to see things from a higher perspective, you know, And I do, you know, so you might want to tap into the energy of an eagle, for example.
So one of the easiest ways to do it, I think, is in the dream state.
You can set the intention before you go to bed, pick an animal, pick the medicine of that animal and say, I would love to connect with an eagle, an eagle spirit today, tonight, while I'm sleeping, or the strength I need, the courage. So bring me a lion. I want to learn from the lion.
Or I want to learn how I can be more motherly. Can I learn from that spider?
[00:42:19] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:42:20] Speaker B: So, yes, you can also set that tension for just a meditation and just a visualization. Even if you've got. Even if you. Before bed, you know, while you're still lucid, you could just imagine what would it be like to be this animal, be meeting up with this animal. And that brings me to something we did at our drumming circle a couple months ago. I think we did it twice and it was fun both times where we drummed and we allowed, we just allowed whatever animal came into our imaginations as we drummed. And while we were drumming, we went on a little adventure with that animal.
And, you know, you would think, right, that you, you'd be the big ones that you would normally, oh, I'm going to be a wolf, or I'm going to be a. I'm going to be a bear. But we weren't setting that intention. We were just allowing whatever animal came. I got a mouse and I had so much fun. I was running around the farm, I was running through the barn, I was outsmarting the cats. It was just a joyride. And now this is not an animal that I would normally go. I want that to be my totem animal. This is the intention I'm setting. But when I allowed it, it was like we talked about the medicine you needed at the time and the other time we did it. This is an animal I don't even like. I don't I'm not a big fan of marine animals. I just now.
And I actually turned into an eel, and I was just riding the waves and. Oh, my gosh, so much freedom as an eel. You would not imagine. I couldn.
I would never consciously choose an eel, but I had such fun as a mouse and an eel. It was great.
So that's something else you can do. Just allow whatever animal comes to you and just imagine you're walking in its shoes.
[00:44:05] Speaker A: Yeah.
[00:44:06] Speaker B: Not that animals wear shoes, but, yeah, horses do.
[00:44:10] Speaker A: So one of the things when I was first starting out my spiritual journey, because I learned a lot about, I had a very strong shamanic connection. And that's one of the things about, like, shamanism, is that it's very connected to everything, including the animals, especially the animals.
And one of the things that was like, really gathered my attention was shape shifting. But it was shape shifting in a way where you did it in a meditative state. Like, you would just allow. Just like Lola just said, the. In fact, you can find any kind of meditation on YouTube, but I found this one on YouTube where you focus on just relaxing. And then you become a sphere. And then that sphere, you ask for whatever animal that's. It's what it's willing to come in to show you things about that animal. And you automatically in your meditation, you shape shift between. Into that animal, and you get to experience life as that animal. And of course, I shifted into an eagle.
But what's really interesting is I didn't realize it was an eagle right away until it started really flying high. And I was like, okay, well, this is definitely a bird. And I. All of a sudden I saw all these birds, and I saw this one really elevating to the highest point.
And I'm like, yeah, the highest flying bird, this is an eagle. And then it decided to hunt and it went.
And it was almost as if even though I was seeing life through the eyes of the eagle, the eagle was living its own life. So it was showing me about the power that we have when situations are not ideal, to see things from a higher perspective.
And that showed me a lot because I saw a lot of birds, like, going. And then all of a sudden it was elevating higher.
And a lot of times we need to do that.
The cunning and the eyesight of clear vision into haunting.
Hunting a fish and diving in and getting it and just flying right out was just amazing.
But I think that even if you're. If you don't know much about shamanic practices, this shamanism in General, there's so many great meditations out there that are free for you.
And one of the things like for example, with Lola and her drum circle that we find out is that every culture has used drums. And also the reason why they use those drums is because it follows like a heartbeat if you think about it. But once the drum is played in a certain way, it really allows you to go on this journey. So. And the reason why I'm saying shamanic journeying is because there's a lot of those shamanic journey where they're already playing the drum. You just have to relax and you can set an intention. And there is guided meditations as well. The one that I did was like drum and guided meditation.
So just feel free to try those things out. They're just tools out there so that you can experience things in different ways.
It does become. It gets very woo woo the more you advance. I'm not gonna lie, because I think that once upon a time, if somebody would have told me all this, I would have been like, I think you need to be instituted.
But as I'm living this.
[00:47:49] Speaker B: Yeah. Because I know a lot of people could never imagine becoming a mouse. Yes.
[00:47:52] Speaker A: Or an eagle.
[00:47:54] Speaker B: And I want to go back to shamanism because you can actually go to a physical person too.
[00:47:58] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:47:59] Speaker B: And usually the first thing a shaman is going to do is take you on a journey which is going into your imagination and they're going to introduce you to an animal.
So sometimes you can find out what your temporary animal is that's guiding you. Sometimes certain shaman can lead you to your one big spirit animal that you seem to be working with.
So it, it can be in person as well.
[00:48:25] Speaker A: Exactly. That's how I found out my main totem animal and my hubby, I took him to it because after that I was so excited that I'm like, now you need to find out yours.
[00:48:35] Speaker B: Well, mine was definitely in my dreams. And people see me with my totem animal. It's interesting when some people come.
Well, I always walk with two. I walk with two white bears. They're spirit bears. They are not polar bears. Spirit bears are white bears that look like regular bears. They don't have the, what big long nose.
Those are my. That's my totem animal. And I. And it's funny when every once will see them go, I saw you on the, I saw you on the astral plane last night. I saw you in a dream last night with your bears. It's like, okay, yep, I'm always with my bears. So I Wanted to go back to something for me personally, because we have a few more minutes.
So this week I don't drive very often. I don't have to and I don't want to. I am not the kind of person just to get in a car and drive, so. And I live in the country, so if I'm going to go get my groceries, I'm probably going to run a lot of errands on one trip. Right? So I guess the whole point being I'm not on the road a lot.
And this week I have encountered so many animals in the middle of the road just, just waiting for me, I swear.
So the first one was when I was going to the drumming circle last Sunday. Now, keep in mind, I want to tell you this.
I have a medicine drum that used to be used by a very well respected Native American earth healer named Rainbow Thunderheart. I'm the custodian of that drum and he was Bear Clan. Okay.
So the. I've got that got the bear drum in the backseat of the car. It's got bear paws on it.
I'm coming down the road and I'm in the farm area. I wasn't even in the very wildernessy part.
There are houses nearby. And all of a sudden I see a movement and I. And I just, I didn't have to stop sharply. All I had to do was put a little bit of pressure on the brake because a very happy bear came bounding across the road in front of me.
And it was just like, I don't think I've ever seen a bear other than at Woodland Park Zoo.
And it was just like, what were the odds of that? Well, I'm carrying the bear drum in the back.
I've got Mr. Bear Medicine's bear drum in the back. Oh, my God.
So bear was calling to me, and it is my totem too, but I did not expect that.
And then I did a spirit guide drawing for a person this week. And it was a Native American wearing deer horns, like stag horns. And I never drawn one like that before. And the day I drew it, when I was at Mystical Wares, I'm there every Friday doing readings. And I, you know, it was quiet. So I did her drawing while it was quiet between people.
And on the way home, I'm coming around the cor. Oh, no, no, no. And then the next day, because I was supposed to have a meeting with her to show her her guide, I see this little movement in the, in the bushes. So I stopped the car because people spread through that area. So it's like, I know there's an animal here. I'm just stopping. And it was a doe with two fawns. One was female and one was male because he was sprouting his antlers just like that. Spirit guide, he was like, what?
And then on my way home, I get home, I turn up the driveway. There's two deer in my driveway. After I'd connected with the spirit guide drawing of this Native American.
Okay. And then the. Then a couple days ago, I thought, well, that's enough of just, you know, things in the road, right? And I'm going down the road and I'm. There is a crow right in the middle of the road, and it's not budging. I mean, usually a crow will get, you know, move right away when it sees a car. And, you know, I'm slowing down and it's like, okay, obviously you're trying to make me notice you. So.
So I looked up the medicine for all of these. We already talked about the bear. You know, balance, strength, courage, introspection and solitude, patience.
But also the deer is gentleness, intuition, grace and compassion. And it's also about renewal because, you know, I think it was important that I saw a boy, because that's about renewal, because he eventually shed those antlers. And then the crow is illusion, wisdom, mystic, good problem solvers, messengers between worlds.
So that was. Those are my stories. So I figure, okay, this is the kind of medicine I should look up. This is why I'm telling you guys, if you have encounters like this, look up what these animals mean and see if they relate to you. And then on top of it, I was doing an online tarot reading for someone, and all of a sudden I jumped up.
It's caught on camera. She's got it. And I go, there's a spider right on my tarot cards running toward me. And it was. It was moving so fast.
It was going straight at me. It was like, where did you come from? So we do talked about all the wonderful things about spiders, but I must admit one right Walking right over my tarot card. So anyway, these are the things that may seem small in the moment, but that's your little clue to look up. What's the medicine of this animal that I saw, you know, in the road? What is the medicine of this spider that. That just keep running. Not away from me, toward me.
So that's the magic in it.
So anyway, how can you connect with these animals? Once again, some of it's the spontaneity, like we're talking about, but also Amaral's favorite way. Journaling. Yes, you can, you can set the intention to feel the animal, talk to the animal, get a message from the animal. I do it with the spirit guide drawings. I can also. I don't do animals as much, but I can tune into the animals that just by saying, okay, which animal is most helpful for this person right now? And then whatever the first one is, don't overanalyze it.
Then look up that, that medicine.
And then like another thing that's being recommended is observe nature with awareness.
You and the butterflies. You talk about the butterflies.
[00:55:02] Speaker A: Oh, I didn't even mention the butterflies. So what's really interesting is butterflies have been appearing non stop. And I've been going through this really huge transformational stage, right? And then when I'm thinking like, the butterflies are just out there, it's like, it's not really like they're there for me. So then they switched it up. So now I see three butterflies flying together.
And I've seen it three times already, which is so crazy.
[00:55:29] Speaker B: Past, present, future.
[00:55:30] Speaker A: Yeah, it is literally, like. Because they're like. Well, apparently it's not a sign. Your sign. Because it's so funny. We laugh because when spirit even throws a sign to us, we're like, okay, spirit, give me a sign. Your sign, so I can see it. So I kept being. Even though I would go in my car, I would open up my door and the first thing that I would see would be a butterfly. And it's like this specific kind of butterfly, like those kind of off white, kind of yellowish color. I would see that kind of butterfly. And then I started thinking like, no, they are in the wild. That's like, not possible. So then it switched to those type of butterflies, but three of them flying together.
And I was like asking everyone I knew, have you ever seen three butterflies flying together, almost connected? And everybody was like, no. Where did you see that?
[00:56:23] Speaker B: I was in the car with you.
[00:56:24] Speaker A: Yeah, I showed it to you.
[00:56:26] Speaker B: And there's three butterflies flying together.
[00:56:30] Speaker A: So it just, if anything, just open, open your heart to experience life, to just have those animals come in. They have great medicine for you. Just really, just take it in.
[00:56:44] Speaker B: You can do it through art too.
[00:56:46] Speaker A: Exactly.
[00:56:46] Speaker B: You know, I draw spirit animals. Art. But you can, you know, cut out pictures of your favorite animals, the ones you're drawn to right now or the ones who you. I like their medicine. I want that around me.
Print it up, put it on your fridge so you see it, you know, in the morning when you're making coffee, you know, have that animal around you.
[00:57:05] Speaker A: Oh, and then I just thought of something too. The essential oils. So we have a great brand, Michelle Mahler, that makes essential oils.
[00:57:14] Speaker B: Animal totems.
[00:57:15] Speaker A: Animal totems. And they are great, especially if you want to focus on.
[00:57:18] Speaker B: I love the bear one.
[00:57:20] Speaker A: Getting the energy from a certain animal. They're a great, great way to do it.
[00:57:24] Speaker B: And she's Circle of healing essential oils.
Oh, she's amazing. Yeah. You can find her online.
Yeah. So we only have about a minute left.
We probably could talk about animals for, you know, four episodes, but this was kind of an intro and also to let you learn from our experiences this week because it was more animals than usual this week.
[00:57:47] Speaker A: There was a lot of animals this week for sure.
[00:57:50] Speaker B: And you may be experiencing that too. So keep observing nature or, you know, keep visualizing art journaling and just trust, trust yourself. You know, if it feels like it's. It might feel like a very casual experience with an animal or it might be a different, like, oh, wait, no, I'm going to pay attention to that one for some reason.
So trust yourselves.
[00:58:15] Speaker A: Thank you so much for tuning in. Don't forget to share.
[00:58:18] Speaker B: Thank you.
[00:58:19] Speaker A: Thank you.
[00:58:19] Speaker B: Bye.
