[00:00:01] Speaker A: Welcome to Woowooville, the next stop on your spiritual journey, hosted by two fellow travelers who found a soul connection on the path to higher consciousness. Our goal is to help you navigate the choppy waters you're likely to encounter on the spiritual path by sharing our experiences with you each week. And the cat is joining us too. That was her in the background. Join us and the cat as we spill the tea on what it is like to wake up to your authentic self. Hello, I am Lola Singer and my name is Emeril. And I'm going to give you guys a confession right off the bat. It's eclipse season and the eclipse season is hitting me hard. I am not feeling my best. I feel kind of out of it, a little fuzzy brained. And I know it's because I'm going through a big shift that's being augmented by the energy of the eclipse, which is why we're going to be talking about exactly that today. So I'm gonna have Amaral take the lead here. It was his idea. [00:01:12] Speaker B: So we are in eclipse season. So you might ask yourself, what does that mean? So on September 7th it would. We started with a lunar eclipse, which was in the sign of Pisces. And we'll be having a solar eclipse on September 21, which will be in the sign of Virgo. Now during eclipse season there's a lot of things that go on energetically. So first lunar eclipses are usually the way to use the energy, energy to your benefit. So lunar eclipses are about releasing, they're about like your intuition. So really focusing on the deep things of the things that you're ready to let go. And we're talking about the really deep things because they tend to. With the energy providing that help deep things tend to rise up. [00:02:17] Speaker A: Well, especially if we're dealing with Pisces. [00:02:19] Speaker B: Exactly. And now so when we're talking about the moon, the moon is the sub like represents the subconscious as far as really deep things surfacing up. So what I've been doing personally is I've been focusing on my subconscious and allowing things to really come up. And it has not been a good. Like a walk in the park, we'll just put it that way. [00:02:46] Speaker A: You know, the in tarot, the moon card is ruled by Pisces and it represents the subconscious. No wonder this feels so deep this time. [00:02:55] Speaker B: Yep. [00:02:56] Speaker A: Oh my. And my. My north node is in Pisces. So I'm. Wait a minute. I get confused on the nodes. This is. I'm going, I'm moving from Virgo from The past into the future of Pisces. So this is interesting that you. You mentioned both those signs. [00:03:16] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:03:17] Speaker A: Just a sidebar, guys. But it could explain why it's hitting me so hard right now, because these are big challenges in my birth chart. [00:03:23] Speaker B: And to top it off, we just had a full moon, too. So we had a full moon and a lunar eclipse on the same day, and we actually happened to have a drum circle. And let me tell you about that drum circle, because I don't even know if I actually got a chance to talk to Lola about her drum circle that she hosts. So we had a lot of intentions. So much emotions came up out of that drum circle. I remember we got done, and I was trying to kind of gather my thoughts and stuff, so I took a moment to kind of connect with myself. And I was sitting in the kitchen, and Christina came to me, and she just started, like, talking to me, like, are you okay? And I said, I just have a lot of emotions that kind of rose up. And I got a really good talk with her because she kind of, like, talked about some things that sorted out my. My emotions. But I think that's the one thing that we forget, is to honor our emotions. Like, they're not coming up to. To, like, torture us or whatever. In fact, it's that those parts of us that we don't shine a light on that sometimes it really helps for us to be able to tune into them. And, yes, sometimes it can come out in a form of triggering us or getting us to feel really emotional. But nonetheless, the way we need to look at them is they're coming up for a reason. [00:04:52] Speaker A: Yeah. And drum circles, because we work as a community at my drum circle, and we talk about how we're feeling before we set intentions and drumming. And so it's very, very therapeutical. And we started off with honoring some people who were going through grief because they had a friend in the. In hospice. And then we ended up. I think maybe. Maybe this is why it's hitting us so hard, because we set the intention to release what no longer is serving us, whether we're conscious of it or not, which was a new twist I had never thought about before. But, boy, be careful what you wish for, because whatever's being cleared for me from my subconscious, it's. It's taking a toll on me where I feel tired. I. Like I said earlier, I'm fuzzy. I'm. I'm. Things are not exciting me, so I know I'll get over it. And I really feel that eclipse feeling of being in light and dark at the same time. I know parts of me are shedding, metaphorically dying. And so I'm feeling the death and the grief and the loss of something I can't even particularly name because we chose to release things from our subconscious. [00:06:05] Speaker B: Yep. [00:06:06] Speaker A: And I know the doors open, the portals open for me to see, step into the next thing, but I'm kind of in this weird limbo state right now where I feel like I'm partly dying and not quite birthed yet. [00:06:21] Speaker B: Yep. Which would be like. That's a perfect description, actually, of eclipse season because literally we're going through. We're allowing things to come up. We're allowing things to die within ourselves so that we can kind of process those things. And there's. There's a very important part that happens when we're going through that process, and it's a numbing process. [00:06:46] Speaker A: That's where I'm at. I feel numb. I'm not. My affect is disinterested in life. [00:06:54] Speaker B: Almost exactly. [00:06:55] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:06:55] Speaker B: It's almost like you're so tuned into what's happening to you as far as, like, exiting out. And you're so like, just in this quiet place, which is really kind of like, pretty much going into the void and allowing those things to shed. But until that processes, of course, you're gonna, like, kind of tune out from the world because you're going within. One thing that I did wanted to mention that was really interesting on the drum circle that I was just like, kind of mind blown by is we had a first timer, and she happened to be atheist, and she got really emotional and was like, I've never been here before. I never even knew what it was about. But all I know is I have all these emotions coming out. And I thought that was so great because she was allowing and opening up to really be present to honor her feelings, to let those feelings out. It was very emotional because, as Lola said, we were holding space for someone that was grieving. And even that was really powerful because we're so taught that men have to hold their feelings in. And this guy was just letting them out. He was not with the whole putting a mask and pretending to be so tough. He was feeling. He was going through the feelings. He was having. One of his friends, I think he was passing. Right. He was in the process of passing. And so because of that, he was just letting it out and saying how. How really he wants to be there as much as he can for him, and he just was looking for that support, and he just let out his emotions. So I thought that was beautiful. [00:08:39] Speaker A: And he had about 20 people holding space for him. [00:08:41] Speaker B: Yeah. And he did say he felt very supported and very loved. So he was really grateful. He gave thanks things to everyone towards the end. So I was really happy to hear that. [00:08:51] Speaker A: So maybe that's one aspect of this eclipse season that everybody should be aware of, I think go to extremes so you could feel like me where I'm feeling a little bit flat, but you could also go to the extremes of a lot of emotions as well. So. [00:09:12] Speaker B: So let me start by giving a little description. Description of what lunar eclipses are. So lunar eclipses are in. [00:09:19] Speaker A: Wait a minute, I'm confused. Is that the one that's coming up? [00:09:21] Speaker B: No, this one's the one that just passed. [00:09:22] Speaker A: But we're still feeling the influence. [00:09:23] Speaker B: Yes, we're feeling the influence. So we'll feel the influence until we get. So on the 7th, it was the lunar eclipse. And when we're going to proceed with this energy that is going to assist us to release anything that's no longer aligned with us. And on the 21st, we'll go into a solar eclipse. But first I'm going to start the describing what the lunar eclipse technically is about, and then we'll go over the solar eclipse. So the lunar eclipse is about endings and emotional release. The purpose is to bring emotional cycles to their culmination and bring things to a head. The energy we're going to experience is a time for endings and breakdowns, facing truth about one's emotions and shadow self. The focus is is going to be demanding deep self examination and bringing to light underlying feelings, fears and attachments. The role is a moment of potential liberation and evolution where the universe highlights what needs to shift or be released in your life. And that was a really cool description because it really just narrowed down into words what I think part of like us having this podcast is about education to those that are new in this spiritual awakening. And I wish I would have known more on how to harvest this energy when I was like going through my awakening process. I did know about full moons and I was always a fan of full moons because I know the full moon is all about releasing. So I use them very wisely. But it's almost like during eclipse season it goes on steroids because the energy is so much more potent to do that now. [00:11:06] Speaker A: No wonder the drum circle was so meaningful this last time because imagine we were supporting people going through that. There were three friends with the guy in hospice. [00:11:20] Speaker B: Yes. [00:11:20] Speaker A: And talk about facing truth like you and deep self examination. Yep. When you're even thinking about mortality at all. [00:11:31] Speaker B: Exactly. Well, and the thing is, I think that we, as we grow on our spiritual journey, one of the things that we find it is we go through different layers of understanding so much of ourselves. For example, I arrived at Lola's place and I sat down and the first thing that came out of my mouth was I realized I was doing things wrong. [00:12:02] Speaker A: She goes, what? [00:12:04] Speaker B: And I said, I had a moment where I really tuned into my subconscious. And through a session, I learned that I had an out of setting of whenever I'm doing someone's hair, when I'm dealing with someone close and a close parameter, I tend to carry and like bring their stuff as mine. And it's an auto setting that a lot of empaths have, but it's really taking a toll on me because I can't be doing that. So one of the things that I told her, I said, I just realized I've been doing that my entire life. [00:12:42] Speaker A: And it was like such a, such. [00:12:44] Speaker B: A mind blowing thing because I, I now have the responsibility and I've learned that I need to clear myself, obviously, after I have clients. And the way it was explained to me is go by your emotions and your frequency. If you feel like your emotions are like kind of going down or your frequency is going down, you're not feeling that great, that means you absorb more or absorb things that don't belong to you and just let them go. You can do that by grounding. You can do that by just releasing the energy that's excess to yours. It doesn't belong to you. But think about this. If I, if that would have never came up and I would have never realized that, I would have continued to do the same thing. And then I would have been like, because we know that in the morning, hopefully everybody is having some sort of practice where they're going inward or at least clearing themselves in the morning. You feel great after you do that. Then you go out into the 3D world. For those of us that deal with the 3D world and then come back and feel like we have to ground and release things because we feel so dense from like, dealing with all those energies. So what if we started learning how to manage our energy better while we're, we're dealing with the 3D world? Like, that's what's cool about this. [00:14:06] Speaker A: So I think what Amaral's trying to say, by the way, if you don't know, he's a, he's our spiritual hairstylist so he is around touching people's heads all day. [00:14:15] Speaker B: Yep. [00:14:16] Speaker A: But I think what you brought that up is to say that it. That was something you weren't consciously aware of. [00:14:21] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:14:21] Speaker A: This season, this eclipse season helped you to illuminate some. I can't even talk. I'm just a mess. Help to illuminate that. So now you're consciously aware of something that had been in your subconscious. Now you can do something about it. And I think that's why he's bringing it up, so that if that's something you were aware of about yourself, now you've taken out of their subconscious. [00:14:47] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:14:48] Speaker A: And they can work on it too. I'm really having a hard time conveying myself today. [00:14:54] Speaker B: You're actually doing great. I think you're doing better than you think you are. And keep in mind that when. When I got here and Lola's like, I'm kind of like, just feeling. And I said, you're probably feeling like. Because she said a few key words, which was like, I feel like I'm just processing. I'm not quite to the new beginning, but I'm definitely processing this. Letting go of his old self. And I said, you probably feel very numb. And the reason why I said that is because that's how I was feeling while I was processing things. Like, I think that part of us going through this is to realize that we do need that time for ourselves. We do need that time to integrate, and that during those times, we may not be ready to do a lot of things during this process. I got invited to so many social events, and I said no to every single one of them. [00:15:46] Speaker A: That's a big step for you. [00:15:48] Speaker B: Yep. Because I'm. I. I mean, I have friends that all always do social things, but I have to take care of my own energy. So, for example, if I know I'm releasing a lot and I'm processing a lot of emotions, the last place I want to be is at a bar. [00:16:05] Speaker A: Oh, my goodness. [00:16:06] Speaker B: Because then people drink and they lower their vibration. And I. It's not. It's just a thing that I've discovered with time is as soon as people really start drinking, especially when they get to that point where they. They're like, really drunk, guess who they go against is the guy with the light. It's always, like. Happens that way. So I'm just like, no. And this is not victimizing myself. It's just. It's such an energy discord. Like, when you're drinking, you're lowering your vibration, whether you low you understand it or not, when you get drunk, you literally are giving your power away to an entity that comes into you. And when that energy entity comes into you especially, you're out in public, hopefully. And the best wish is it's a happy drunk. But that's not necessarily true. [00:16:55] Speaker A: Nope. I think when you're feeling this way that, that you don't even want to be in. Even if you, if you, even if it wasn't a drinking situation, you just don't want to be around other people. You want to be a bear and hibernate. [00:17:11] Speaker B: Exactly. In man. This sleeping I like last, this last weekend, my husband was like, are you feeling okay? Are you getting sick? Because you normally like don't sleep, but you've been sleeping a lot. And I said, I know, I just feel really tired. And see, the thing is, I could have gone further and explained to him that just I'm drained energetically. But I can explain to him to some degree. But he's probably not going to understand all of it because the more sensitive you become to energy, the more you start working on yourself, the more big events really take a toll on you in a way. The energy, like it's, it's an energetic thing. And you're gonna realize too that people have way less patience during like eclipse season, that there is a lot more crazy drivers out there because people are going by emotions. People aren't gonna have as much patience as they normally are because even, even if they're not spiritually inclined, they're still feeling these energies. [00:18:15] Speaker A: That brings up something that when I, we were talking about this topic and because I'm not feeling my most enthusiastic is like, I'm really not into this. I'm really not into this topic. You know, that's why I told Emeril to take the lead. But then I did look up something on the in, you know, through the Internet and the AI gave me some information about why, why, why do eclipses feeling intense. And that finally got me a spark of interest for me up until then because I'm not feeling very excited about anything in life right now. I was like, all right, well let's do this topic. But I like this and it applies. So it doesn't even matter if you're woo woo or not sensitive to energy or not, you're sensitive to light. So I'm so sorry. I have a new computer. I thought I had turned the sounds off. I apologize for that. So it said sudden shifts in light, even briefly, an eclipse disrupts the sun or moon's Normal presence. True. Right. Light changes, shadows move strangely, and it is a literal pause in the normal order. And our psyche responds to this abrupt shift. It's a subtle, primal alarm system. So even if you're not really consciously aware of it, your body's aware of it, something's different, something happened with the light, and the body's probably going into that I don't know what to do mode. Yeah. And so you might not be able to put your finger on it, but that's, it's. It's being noticed. It's being noticed when there's also that. [00:19:57] Speaker B: Magnetic charge from just being the moon and affecting the waves. We're. We're made out of water. So our bodies will definitely feel that magnetic charge, energetic charge. There's just so, like, there's just a lot of intenseness going on. And I think that. But what I was, What I was also talking to Lola that we were like, trying to discuss is that the last thing we want to do is make it be fear based. Because obviously we know where we put our intention has to do with what we receive out of things. So we didn't want it to be fear based. Instead, what we wanted to do is educate you guys on how to harness these energies better. Like how. What symptoms can you expect out of it so that you know, you're not feeling like you're not going crazy? Because some of us are like, oh, my goodness, I can't believe, like I'm feeling, feeling so overwhelmed. Just be patient. It's only. Well, what's really crazy too, which is I asked, like, how long can it be felt? An eclipse or eclipse season, how long does it. Is it felt in the body? And it said immediate things can be felt for days, but really drastic changes, meaning things that we're working on, they can be felt up to 7, 6 months for profound changes. So it's like over time, the things that are slowly shifting about us because we know that even if we make change within, they take a little bit of time to become more physical because it's all like done first in the spiritual and then eventually they shift into physical. [00:21:41] Speaker A: There's also something that I saw when with, with my Internet search. It says because eclipses often fall near the nodes of the moon, and these are both. These are my nodes, Pisces and Virgo. They create turning points or karmic accelerations, making personal collective change feel larger than life. So if it's a karmic thing, yes, it's going to take about six months sometimes. Right. But the Stirring of it is starting now that this has to change. I have to stop this cycle. That feeling like it's being initiated during some of these eclipses. [00:22:22] Speaker B: Oh yeah. [00:22:22] Speaker A: So that makes sense that you feel things immediate, but you could also feel things long term if it's. If it's karmic. [00:22:28] Speaker B: Yeah. And isn't it so weird that this specific eclipse is interesting? It's eclipse season because it started with a lunar eclipse and it's in Pisces, which is actually the subconscious, like connecting with the subconscious and the moon. And then it's going to be a solar eclipse into Virgo, which I'll go into what solar eclipses mean in the energy they're providing. But Virgo is like the more structure sign the ones that have wants to have more Virgo plants. [00:23:05] Speaker A: The seed exactly tends to. The seed nurtures the seed makes sure something grows. So requires time, patience. [00:23:13] Speaker B: Yep. [00:23:14] Speaker A: Focus. [00:23:15] Speaker B: I just thought it just aligned so well together. Like literally from one to the other. Like one is going deep in the subconscious and the other one is really like just planting the seeds. [00:23:28] Speaker A: I. I'm not enjoying the ride. I don't feel like. I feel like they're conflicting with each other. I do not feel the ease with this at all. [00:23:39] Speaker B: Let me retract that statement. What I'm trying to say is yes, it can be intense, yes, it can be really felt. But what I'm saying is ultimately it's working in your favor. You might not feel it right away. It might be stretching you a lot. [00:23:54] Speaker A: Where you feel Pisces is dreamy and Virgo is diligent. [00:24:00] Speaker B: Yeah, I just find it. Well, let me go into the description of the solar solar eclipse and then it'll make more sense. What I'm trying to say, I guess. Okay, so a solar eclipse is new beginnings and empowerment. The purpose is to open hearts, facilitate healing and initiate a new journey. The energy we're going to get from it is a gateway to new beginnings and powerful transformations. Encouraging courage in the release of fear. The focus is going to be encouraging individuals to embrace their inner power and step onto a fresh, exciting path. The role is seen as a dynamic, friendly and joyous events that catalyzes change by blocking the sun's light with the moon. And that's going to be on the 21st of September. So it is coming up. So what I meant is just how one goes from releasing to the new beginnings. It's like in order to bring in the new, you need to make room for it. So what better than to go with first the lunar eclipse energy to help you shed away the that that's no longer belonging to you, AKA from your subconscious. So that, that way when you get to the solar eclipse, you can have a new beginning and like more like be, I guess, working with what's coming up, what's new for you. [00:25:38] Speaker A: Which might explain why I feel this way. Maybe other people in the audience do too. Like, I've closed a door, I've opened the new one. I have not walked through the threshold. And it's a frustrating, like I said, limbo feeling. [00:25:54] Speaker B: Yep. [00:25:54] Speaker A: Yeah. Okay, well, I guess there's hope for us by the time solar eclipse comes, right? Let's embrace the. Let's embrace the steadfast qualities of Virgo. [00:26:08] Speaker B: Yeah, well, in the thing is, one of, one of the things that I was looking at is the things that you can do to really harness those changes. Meaning like, like for example, rituals or practices for eclipse season. So letting go rituals are really good and there's different for the whole season. [00:26:36] Speaker A: Or just during a lunar eclipse. [00:26:37] Speaker B: During the lunar eclipse. Now, since lunar eclipse is emphasize on endings and releases, discuss rituals for closure. For instance, you can write down what you want to release and then ceremonially burn the paper and release it. So that's a simple one. But there's also, there's meditations. There's other rituals too that you can find if you look for them for releasing. So this is like, this is the ideal. So what it's pretty much saying is you in order to harness this energy efficiently, those are some ideas that you can use. [00:27:14] Speaker A: You know, the, the AI actually gave me some mantras. [00:27:21] Speaker B: Okay, well can I just finish saying these things and then. [00:27:23] Speaker A: Okay, I think, I think you'll like them. Okay. [00:27:26] Speaker B: I love mantra. So journaling and reflection, I mean encourages listeners to journal during eclipse season. This can help them process their emotions and gain clarity on changes happening in their lives. Promote journaling as a reflective practice rather than an active manifesting tools during the chaotic energy. So this really allows you to go within to explore what things you are like processing insane. And once you write it on paper, they make so much more sense to you. When I first have all these thoughts going in my head, I'm like, oh my gosh, I'm going crazy. I'm going crazy. But then I write it down. I'm like, well, I guess I'm not going crazy because now I see the pattern but of what's happening to me by being able to write it down. [00:28:12] Speaker A: But you're really, really become fully conscious of them. [00:28:17] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:28:17] Speaker A: Which is what we're talking about. Take it out of the subconscious and put it on paper. [00:28:21] Speaker B: And then this next one is setting boundaries and self care. [00:28:24] Speaker A: Yes. That's what I've been doing for two days. I have just. I've been. I. My energy level is just. Just not normal right now. So my place is very, very messy and I don't care. [00:28:42] Speaker B: Y. So advice listeners to on how to protect their energy, especially from the collective anxieties that can arise during an eclipse. This could include grounding practices, limiting social media exposure, and creating energetic boundaries. You know, that all sounds good, actually. I been keeping myself off from people in places that don't really match my energy because I want to go through it as peaceful as possible. I'm already doing the deep digging. Why would I want to put myself through chaos too, to top it off. So it's one of those things about choose. You need to find and choose your own peace, whatever that may equal to you. [00:29:28] Speaker A: Yes. But a lot of us have, you know, have to get up every morning and go. Go to work. Just, you know, we. They would love to stay home and say ohm all day. [00:29:38] Speaker B: And last but not least is meditation and intuition. Talk about how to tune into your intuition during this time since eclipse energy can be too much. [00:29:51] Speaker A: Tumultuous turkey. [00:29:52] Speaker B: Tumultuous suggests focusing on inner guidance rather than trying to force external events. [00:29:59] Speaker A: Yeah, that's great advice. That is actually. So I wanted to bring up the mantras that I'm looking at on my phone here because for the people who won't be able to meditate as much as they want to or take that time to journal, a mantra is a very quick way to help shift your energy. And you could say it at a traffic light, you know, when you're stuck in traffic. Okay, so the first thing that this. This particular information is saying is notice the shifts. Don't resist during the eclipses, so be aware of them. It says eclipse energy can feel like part of you is dying while another part is reborn. We've been saying that over and over again today, haven't we? Okay, so observe your feelings and thoughts without judgment. They're just signals. They're not problems. And that's how I feel too. Even though I'm not very excited. It doesn't feel like a problem. It just feels. Yeah, whatever. Yeah, okay. So the mantra is I honor the endings and make space for my growth. [00:31:06] Speaker B: Ooh, I like that. [00:31:08] Speaker A: Let's say it again for everybody. I honor the endings and make space for my growth. I Think that that is perfect for this type of period. Okay. And it also suggests to anchor through routine. Even if the world feels unstable during the eclipse, small rituals like your morning tea or journaling or a walk can ground you. So the mini mantra is, I am steady in the midst of cosmic change. That sounds Virgo. [00:31:40] Speaker B: Mm. [00:31:40] Speaker A: I am steady in the midst of cosmic change. [00:31:44] Speaker B: Yep. [00:31:45] Speaker A: That's a good one. And then if you can, try to create a space for reflection. You know, I used to. Even if you're working, I. I know a lot of people drive, but I used to do this on the bus on the way home. You know, so if you're a bus rider or a train rider, you know, think about. The eclipse is closing one door, and it's swinging swings the other wide open, like we've been talking about, so you can embrace the new possibility. So the mantra suggested is, I welcome the opportunities that unfold naturally for me. So no big push. Right. It's just naturally unfolding. So those are a few that I think can be helpful to get through this feeling. Whether you're feeling kind of pushed or you're feeling kind of like a boat with no wind, like I am. Either way, I think one of these three mantras could be helpful for you. [00:32:38] Speaker B: Yeah. And even if, like, for me, for example, when I'm driving, I feel like I get a lot of. Maybe because I'm in a relaxed state. I just. I feel like spirit really connects with me. But you also, while you're driving, you can listen to music that relaxes you. You can listens to affirmations while you're driving that you can just repeat. There's so many tools out there for you, and I think, more importantly, it's about finding the ones that truly resonate with you. Because I think that when you're just saying things because you're saying it and you're not really feeling them, they may not work as effectively as you would. [00:33:17] Speaker A: Oh, I agree. It's intention plus emotion that makes the magic. Yeah. [00:33:23] Speaker B: You guys want to hear what my mantra is for the day? And they got it from my spread that I did, and I love it. [00:33:29] Speaker A: You mean your tarot spread? [00:33:31] Speaker B: Yes. [00:33:31] Speaker A: They might think you're talking about margarine or butter. [00:33:33] Speaker B: Yes. Okay. For my tarot spread, I was. I got this mantra today, and it says, I release the weight of fear and control. My mind chooses joy. My heart moves with courage. My body flows with compassion. I honor my passion without burning out. Nice. And I stand strong in my freedom of my true self. I love it great. [00:34:01] Speaker A: If you guys like that, you know, you can. You're free to borrow any of these. [00:34:05] Speaker B: Exactly. They work great. I love mantras, but as I said, is the emotion that we need to add to them so that. That way they can really be amped up. Because not all mantras are going to really connect with you. You have to have something. Oh, I remember this thing too, that I just told the client yesterday is because she was saying how affirmations she has sometimes a hard time feeling like an affirmation belongs to her, like putting the emotion. The affirmation. So I read this book, and on this book, it's one for. It's focused on manifesting, but you can focus it on whatever you want. But. But it said write down your goals and first go over, like write it down in a journal and then off of the writing your goals, make those your affirmations. Now talk about emotion and energy put on them. So that works really great. [00:35:02] Speaker A: But be sure to be putting a positive spin on the affirmation. So you don't want to use the word not in an affirmation or want like, I am not poor, you know. [00:35:18] Speaker B: Or I dream or I wish. [00:35:20] Speaker A: Yeah. That it all implies lack. So you want to say, I am or I'm so grateful I'm on my. [00:35:26] Speaker B: Way to this, or thank you for this as it had already happened. [00:35:31] Speaker A: Yeah. I just noticed something in my little notes on my phone about this time of this season, this eclipse season that I like what I'm seeing, so I'm just going to read it verbatim. Okay. It's using the term energy compression. [00:35:50] Speaker B: Ooh, I like that. [00:35:51] Speaker A: I know. And listen to this. Think of it like a pressure cooker. Astrological, lunar and solar forces converge into a brief moment. Big ideas, feelings, or decisions that have been simmering can suddenly demand attention. Oh, yes, it does feel like a convergence. [00:36:13] Speaker B: It does. [00:36:14] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:36:14] Speaker B: I like the pressure cooker compression. Sounds really good. [00:36:18] Speaker A: Yeah. [00:36:23] Speaker B: All right. So one of the things I put to is a better way to prepare for eclipse C season. So it's prioritize rest and reflection, which we kind of mentioned a little bit. But one of the things you're going to really discover, especially during this time, is fatigue. The fatigue is not so much. Here's the thing. [00:36:46] Speaker A: I'm the poster child for that right now. [00:36:50] Speaker B: But I do want to specify something, because I was like, the only reason why I'm bringing this up is because I. I once was part of this. Some of us went through a trauma of feeling like resting is being Lazy. Break out of that. Because if you need the rest, you deserve the rest. And this connects with you. You're worthy. You deserve it. Your body is asking you to rest. My husband and I sometimes don't see things eye to eye. In one time, I was. I woke up from a nap and I felt so great. And then he goes and tries to ruin it by saying, oh, it must be nice to be resting for such a long time. And I said, I know I deserve this rest. And. And I'm sorry that you don't seem to know that you need to rest sometimes too, which is kind of catty, and I do have to say that. But he does need the rest. But nonetheless, don't allow your mind or anyone to make you feel guilty about resting, because everybody needs to rest, especially when your body's telling you to rest. [00:38:09] Speaker A: Yes. And I know that's easier for some family situations than others, especially if a lot of kids for, for example, to take care of first. Like, for example, I live by myself, and I went to bed at 8 o' clock last night. I was. I was exhausted. [00:38:23] Speaker B: Oh, yeah. [00:38:23] Speaker A: But not every mom has that opportunity. [00:38:25] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:38:26] Speaker A: You know, so we appreciate wherever you are. But I think what Amaral's really trying to stress is that we have his culture, but we also have the. The Protestant ethic, which is what America is built on, which is, you know, work, work, work. You're not virtuous unless you're work and work and work and work and. And you know what? It's all. What do I keep saying? Balance is mastery. So you rest as well as work. [00:38:56] Speaker B: All right? And then the other thing that's in here, which we kind of touched on, is journal your thoughts and emotions. Eclipse Season is a time for introspect. Writing down your feelings, dreams and insights can help you process and understands the shifts happening beneath the surface. It's interesting how for me, at least, I can. I can say how vivid my dreams have been lately. There. There's something else, and they've been really shocking because I. Well, because I've been working on my subconscious. I've also been tuning into my dreams because, you know, your dreams say a lot about your subconscious conscious and where it's at. So you can kind of go through and whatever you're working with, you'll start having dreams about, especially when you're trying to heal your subconscious or heal something from your subconscious. Usually your dreams were with. Will align with something you're working on, which is what's been doing to me. So I find that to be fun. Like I'm, I get excited. I'm just like, I, I'm go, go, go. So when I see something that it's troubling me or the surface is up, I'm gonna get to the bottom of it. And there's absolutely nothing that can stop me from. Lola knows. [00:40:16] Speaker A: Excuse me. Yeah, he's, he's a bit of Sherlock Holmes of spirituality. [00:40:22] Speaker B: It's a Scorpio thing too, I've realized. [00:40:23] Speaker A: Oh yeah, Scorpios love to pursue that sort of thing. [00:40:26] Speaker B: Yep. [00:40:27] Speaker A: Go deep, deep, deep. That's a good point though. You might be getting a clue from your dreams about especially, especially with the lunar and the full moon influence of what needs to go. And it could be some, it could be your thought, thoughts, process that needs to change. It could be old emotions that are stuck that need to go, or it could be something in your physical life that needs to go. You know, like. I'll just use an example from my life. I was, I was born and raised in Seattle. I moved to a different town for a short time. I was miserable in that town. And I started to get physic, physically depressed living there. I actually ended up on medication. [00:41:08] Speaker B: Oh wow. [00:41:09] Speaker A: I was there, you know, because my boyfriend was there. He had moved there first and I finally moved down there and I wanted to come back home. So, you know, you could have that kind of situation where you're dreaming and it's like, you know, you, I need to go, I need to go back home. You might. And so I did. Eventually I needed to do it for my mental health. But that, that's why I guess I'm saying it's not all woo woo, it's not all spiritual. It could be something very, very practical that needs to go. [00:41:42] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:41:42] Speaker A: And the, and the, and the subconscious is helping you to see that and the dreams are helping you to see that. [00:41:48] Speaker B: And what's really interesting that I would suggest is just kind of have as well as you journal, like have a journal around so that when you wake up, if you remember your dreams and you can also set the intention to remember your dreams. That's one thing we always forget. Because your dreams, sometimes you can't like remember any of them. But if you set an intention of spirit. Can I, like I really want to remember my dreams and like through the night so that I can go over and kind of see them. Just a few nights ago I had this random dream of an ex appearing in my dream. And I was like, that's rather odd because this ex, like nothing Ended up in a bad situation. Nothing. Like it was just a mutual breakup because he had to move. And I don't believe in long distance relationships. So it ended. We both didn't believe in it. It wasn't just me. It was like we both ended it. And I was like, why? Why would he just appear in it? But here's the thing. Your subconscious, it's not a literal. Like your dreams aren't literal. It's like a subconscious thing. And it's like what my subconscious. Once I started going into it and really writing it on my journal and stuff, I realized that he was the person that started teaching me on how to close chapters. Even though it was painful. And I realized that, that that closing of that chapter, I'm capable of doing it. And now that I know more about feelings, I'm actually able to close certain chapters in my life now that don't really align with me anymore in. But it all started with this dream. And I thought it was the most random dream because it's not like we ever had anything chaotic happen other than the main thing that surfaced up when I was journaling and I do this thing where I kind of just do free writing and allow things was the closing of a chapter. [00:43:46] Speaker A: Yeah, that's. And. And I think when I've had dreams about people, I almost push. Push back in my memory. I've had fond friends that have shown up in my dreams and I know it's my way of saying goodbye. You know, they were still lingering as part of me. And that's okay. [00:44:05] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:44:06] Speaker A: But now it's like we drifted apart. It was amicable. I'm surprised I dreamed of you. But I guess I'm just keep on clearing my. Clearing out my subconscious closet here. [00:44:17] Speaker B: So since I have you here, Lola. Ooh, I just thought of a question too. So I always look at the subconscious is a recorder. But sometimes it can be a recorder of not necessarily the greatest things in our lives. That's where a recorder of the. [00:44:35] Speaker A: How we're feeling. [00:44:35] Speaker B: Yeah. How we're feelings. Like our feelings. Like the feelings that we don't share out loud. It's like almost it gets recorded on our subconscious. So knowing this and realizing that. So one of the things I've always heard and correct me if I'm wrong is that what lives in your subconscious, especially what sneaks out of your subconscious, is you're giving life to it without realizing it it meaning in your physical life because it's something that's. That's. That's almost like a seed that's planted. So why I decided to really work seriously on my subconscious is because I realized that. So I've been through the awakening for a while. What if I become intentional about my healing? Meaning, like I really am going to go and feel emotions and especially have it during a powerful time such as an eclipse season, for things to come out and invite feelings to come out. Because that's the other thing too. If we close ourselves, like, I don't want to feel anything. Of course you're not going to feel anything because really kind of your. [00:45:44] Speaker A: No, you will. It's eventually going to be like a little pressure cooker. No. [00:45:48] Speaker B: Well, no. Eventually, yes, it will explode on you. But if you're willing to work on with what is ready to come out, you can ask it to come out and it'll start unraveling in little pieces. Like, for example, it can be something that reminds you of the past and this is why right now journaling is so important. Or. Or something for you to remember where you write it down. You can write it down on your journal, on your note taker, on your phone too. But think of things you experience through. Through your day. They remind you of the past. And especially when it's a strong memory of the past and you'll see you'll have a meaning to it. Because that's what I kind of been doing with things. And man, it's. It's been a little funny with synchronicities and crazy things that just been happening to me. [00:46:37] Speaker A: Well, that's the reason you wanted to do this podcast in such a timely manner, so that we. We can help encourage people who feel ready. [00:46:44] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:46:45] Speaker A: To start accepting that there's things in their subconscious they're not aware of and that this might be a good season to do what you're doing. Request for them to be illuminated so that they can be worked on. And you might want to do that, say, with ease. [00:47:08] Speaker B: Yes. [00:47:08] Speaker A: Yes. Because that could be a bumpy ride. So I would like things to be released from my subconscious that can be assessed and worked on with ease during this period. [00:47:20] Speaker B: Y. [00:47:21] Speaker A: Because be careful what you wish for because it can be a hard ride. [00:47:24] Speaker B: Sometimes it can't. [00:47:26] Speaker A: So ask for it to be gentle. Ask for it to be with ease. Ask for it to be in the highest good for you and all others involved. [00:47:32] Speaker B: So the other thing that's listed here as part of be how to be prepared and how to go through. Through eclipse season is. Which we kind of talked about is protect your energy. For those who are sensitive or Empathic eclipse season can feel draining. Set clear boundaries with people or situations that feel draining. Use grounding practices such as walking barefoot or meditating to stay centered. [00:48:00] Speaker A: I. I went outside and drummed barefoot yesterday. Yeah. And I've been meditating. I've been doing breath work. I've been. And I know I'm not where I normally am, and I'm okay with that. It just feels different. And I guess that describes exactly what the eclipse is, isn't it? I mean, I am really a physical manifestation of what eclipse is. [00:48:29] Speaker B: Yeah. So, funny thing that happened. Just little silly things that happen. So on Sunday, I'm getting all work, like, prepped up, like, mentally and stuff to go into the drum circle, right? So I'm like, okay, I gotta prep up. So I brought, like, my pyramid, which is this device that helps. [00:48:46] Speaker A: He has an organite pyramid. [00:48:48] Speaker B: So it helps with the energy. I'm, like, tuning in the energy. And then I grabbed my first drum, and it was flat. Completely flat. No explanation why it was flat, because it hasn't been cold, and it's covered on a protected warm blanket, so that way it wouldn't be flat. Try. My other drum was flat. I go to the drum circle. I grab a drum that happened to belong to Lola, and it was flat. So I'm like, okay, we're gonna move to a rattle. So I used a rattle for part of it, and then she let me borrow her drum. [00:49:26] Speaker A: A different drum. [00:49:27] Speaker B: Yep. But it was silly how I had to experience three flat drums before, like, moving on to something. But I'm sure there's a meaning for that. Just following, because even Lola herself said, that makes no sense. That drum has been in a warm environment the whole time, so it shouldn't be flat. And I'm like, well, here it is. It's flat. But get this. The final thing suggestion for eclipse season is surrender. Control. Eclipses often trigger unpredictable and sudden changes. Instead of trying to force outcomes, practice, surrender, and trust the process. This can lead to a transformative growth. And that one. [00:50:18] Speaker A: At first, you. You know, you. It feels like, what? What? I'm not surrendering. Especially those of us who've come in with the warrior mentality, you know, from many lifetimes. But I think that means more like good with the flow. So it's not that you're giving up. You're not. You're not saying uncle. What you're saying is instead of being the. You know, when there's a rock in the middle of the river, it's easier for the water to go around. It than to try to bore through it. [00:50:46] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:50:47] Speaker A: You know, so go with the flow. And it really is literally this too shall pass. [00:50:55] Speaker B: Yes. [00:50:55] Speaker A: Because. And I think that's why I'm not so worried about why I'm not feeling completely myself. I know it's going to pass. I know I'm about to go through that next portal. [00:51:03] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:51:03] Speaker A: I know I'm walking through the door that opened, the other one's closed. I don't know where it's going. And I guess that's part of the surrender like you're talking about here. But I know I'm going to be a whole new version of me coming up soon, which maybe some, some people are there going good, about time. But yeah, it's, it's all about moving forward. And it. I guess what, you know, the reason we wanted to do this is we, we promised when we started this podcast that we would just let you learn from our personal experiences. And whether Lola's on a high or low, is on a low or Lola's on a medium. Not very, very excited about life path like I am right now. Knowing that I'm going somewhere but not not knowing where. That's what we wanted to do. Just be very transparent with you so you can learn from us. And I hope this is helpful for you. You know, apparently, you know, these eclipse seasons is intense. You know, we've got big releases, we've got big energy pushed to move forward as well. It makes us feel like we're conflicted. Maybe that's why I feel like I'm not going anywhere. It's almost like a push me, pull. [00:52:23] Speaker B: You kind of thing it total like that. [00:52:26] Speaker A: And I guess, you know, if we can let you know, we've been working on ourselves a long time. You know, me for more than 10 years, you since 2020. And we go through this. Well, it's okay. And if you're going through this too, that's okay too. It's, it's, it's part of the human experience and if we can learn to normalize these things, then we can take the fear out of it. [00:52:53] Speaker B: Exactly. And you know what's so crazy is that if you go through. Because we're like doing a little bit of reading on it, even culturally, like every civilization has seen eclipses as meaningful things for different things that like the way they saw them, they saw them as certain signs for things. [00:53:13] Speaker A: Some usually ominous signs. Cuz. Cuz the sun's going away. So they're exactly know they're freaked out. [00:53:19] Speaker B: Yeah. [00:53:20] Speaker A: Mm. So you Know, they think that the dragon ate the sun or, you know, the sun will never come back or. Yeah, you know, so. So that's another thing we didn't talk about yet, because there might be old archetypal DNA fears from. From your family's ancestry that make you feel uneasy during these periods, too, because we still carry traumas and fears in our DNA for seven generations, according to epigenetics. So, yeah, so you might have a little bit of uneasiness thinking that, oh, my gosh, the sun's going away, but, you know, your rational mind's going, no big deal, it'll come back. But something within you is still have that. I don't know, is the sun really going to come back? I don't know. Did the dragon eat the sun? I mean, legitimately, that could still be part of your heritage. [00:54:18] Speaker B: That is true. And like you said, it's just there's stuff in. Within our DNA that can just surface up or it can have certain feelings that make you feel uneasy about it. And it's just about honoring those feelings and sitting with it and seeing what resonates and what no longer resonates. I think ultimately what we wanted to focus on is how to help navigate through the. This season. This eclipse season. Because when I was new into the spiritual awakening part, nobody ever explained this. Like, I literally. I did learn about, like, full moons and new moons, but that was it. And I always wanted to be like, where. How can I find out more information about eclipse season? Because everybody mentioned how powerful it is. It was. It is. But nobody mentioned how to use it and how to harness that energy or what that energy is about. So I hope that you guys like our episode and like all the information we provided for you and. [00:55:26] Speaker A: But the crux is use the moon cycle to your advantage. [00:55:30] Speaker B: Yep. [00:55:30] Speaker A: By allowing release. [00:55:31] Speaker B: Yep. [00:55:32] Speaker A: And using your intentions from what you want to release. And one of the intentions we found to be powerful is also, please remove what I need to release from my subconscious. [00:55:42] Speaker B: Exactly. [00:55:43] Speaker A: And then when the solar. And when you're thinking about the sun, it's. And the new moons, too, what am I want to bring in? You know, what am I looking forward to? Doesn't it feel exciting to know the door is open? Even if I don't know where it's going, I know the door is open. So that's what we wanted to encourage people to think about. Does that. Does that sum it up? [00:56:05] Speaker B: Yep. [00:56:06] Speaker A: I think it's okay. And then we wanted to kind of end by saying, first of all, thank you to our sponsor, Mystical Wares, which is a spiritual store in Mount Vernon, Washington. Lots of great stones to be found there and other magical items. They even make their own tinctures. I I love their mushroom tincture. So please frequent them.
